Rubbish Table!
All you designers know you’re a messy bunch. Give you a table, a pencil, paper, eraser, sharpener and I’m willing to bet an artful pile of trash would build up all over the floors. No need to be a mess cat anymore. The La Gota Table has a hollow leg with a trash bin at the base. The opening is surrounded by ripples to prevent anything from mistakenly rolling in. The timber parts are made from reclaimed lumber and the table top – a soy based polymer resin with bamboo fillers. HOT! I want one.

Homework Is One Modular, Customizable, Totally Kickass Table [Furniture]
I hate homework, but I love Homework, the infinitely customizable table that you set up yourself in any way that fits you. Definitely veehee smart, and definitely veehee pretty. And I so like smart and pretty. In a table too.
According to the designer Robin Grasby, Homework “allows the user to customize every aspect of their workplace. By selecting everything, from surface size and materials to storage and accessories, the user can create an environment as rich and specifically personalized, or as simple and generic as they require.”
Oh, and it has a measure ruler built in. Total win. [Robin Grasby via Mocoloco]
Chemistry Lab Equipments On The Table
A look at these bottles and you go…OMG am I in the chemistry lab again? No you’re not, but you may as well re-visit the Pipette Bottles and enjoy them. Only this time you store your oil & vinegar in it and proudly display them on your kitchen counter or dining table. Actually go ahead and store any kinda drippy sauce in them, and use the pipette to measure out the exact quantity of the condiment you want. Not a drop more nor a drop less!

This Table Be All Crumpled Up
Oh yes! A table that started out as a “simple software experiment.” This is exactly the sort of thing that an investigatory exploratory design junkie like me likes to read when discovering a new design. Experiencing the CNC technology was the first aim of this project. In the end, it shot out into outer space where the aesthetically unpromising became the end product, the critique of all other tables became the conclusion.
It’s a look at all other objects that are so overly designed that their primary function is overlooked! It’s got so much personality, and so much temper. This table is made more to make you consider it than to perform its task as a table.
The medium is the message!
The materials used: wood with a mat polyurethane color coat.

That’s a Table All Right [Furniture]
Hey, it’s a table and chair set that looks like the word “table.” Rearranging the seats could also spell out “a belt” and “bleat.” Amusing, but it would be better if I could seat people on swears.
