Grown-Up Battleship: You May Pass Out Before You Finish the Game
Honestly, I’m surprised this wasn’t created sooner: a Battleship Drinking Game, with shotglasses perched on each “ship”. So now cries of “You sunk my battleship!” are accompanied by a chug of your favorite poison.

Bing’s Global Searches Outnumber Yahoo’s For the First Time
In February, Bing searches accounted for 4.37% of the global market, while Yahoo held only 3.93% of the global search market. In the US, the proportions played out a bit differently: Google leads with 79.63%, followed by Yahoo and Bing with 9.74% and 9.03%, respectively.

Floor Plan Light Switch Makes it Easy to Light the Right Room
If you’ve ever fumbled around with a light panel of 3 plus switches as you enter a dark house, you know it can be a pain to try to illuminate the right area. The Floor Plan Light switch would display a glowing layout of the floor; just press the room you want to light, and voila! Hopefully it could also scale to a single room that has multiple light areas, like kitchens and bathrooms often do.

PlayStation to save to the cloud

Sony has just informed their developers that the PlayStation 3 will have a new feature – the ability to save games on the cloud. If you’re unfamiliar with the cloud, think of online services like Gmail or Hotmail – they store your emails on their servers so you can pretty much access them from anywhere, any computer with an internet connection as opposed to an Outlook email account you set up on your PC at home that can’t be accessed anywhere else. With Sony introducing cloud saving (they’ve named it Online Saving) to the PlayStation 3, you’ll be able to save your games and access them from anywhere. Want to share the latest level you’re on at your friend’s house? Sure – just log on using your account and load up your save game from there. No more lugging around your PS3 just to prove to your friends you made it to Level X without losing any life. But as usual, with all added services, there are bound to be additional costs – this cloud service will only be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers – hopefully Sony will decide to let everyone make use of it. So, if you are a Plus subscriber, expect to get Online Saving with the upcoming 3.60 firmware update.

Time To Get a Job Sims! Sims 3 Ambitions

Its about time our Sims Avatars stopped all the partying (Nightlife), buying stuff (High-End Loft Stuff), galivanting around the globe (World Adventures) or just hanging out (Free Time.)
Time to get a job, Simsy. With The Sims 3 Ambitions, its still a heck of a good time, as you decide decide whether your Sim will be the brave town hero or be a troublemaker. Make your Sim save the day as a brave firefighter, change the town as a leading architect, or live on the edge as a tattoo artist.
We chose billionaire high-tech inventor (go figure) but you can also be a bumbling mad scientist. The real fun is that for the first time ever, you control ALL your Sim’s actions and interactions while they’re on the job and what you do effects the entire town. For example, if you’re an architect, your on-the-job decisions are going to alter how the town looks. As a P.I. you may discover dirt on the leading family.
Be a hero or ghost hunter (seriously.) Just don’t be that party-girl avatar all the time. (Yes, I’m talking to my avatar!)

Visual Assist Dartboard Hightlights The Best Spots To Target

By Andrew Liszewski
While technically the goal of playing darts is to get to a specific score before your opponent does, there are rules that make it a little more difficult than just trying to hit the bulls eye every turn. Starting at 701, 501 or 301 the goal is to actually get to 0 first, but you have to end up there exactly. So if you find yourself too focused on the game to crunch the numbers and figure out the best spots to target on your next throw, this interactive board is here to help.
Besides automatically keeping track of the score, the board also uses LEDs to suggest and illuminate the best places to throw your dart in order to get to 0 the quickest. And because it’s electronic it’s also got other unique versions of the game including Treasure Hunt which has players targeting each segment until they find the ‘buried treasure.’ If you’re worried about the drywall in your games room you might also be happy to know this is one of those ’safe’ versions where the darts have soft tips and wedge into holes on the board. $199.95 from Hammacher Schlemmer.
